David is the Founder and Principal Financial Planner of Income Solutions. He is a Certified Financial Planner® with more than 25 years in the profession.
David built the business based on his strong belief that anyone can take control of their financial future and he is proud to have shared the journey with many of his long term clients.
Steven has been with Income Solutions since 2006, and now heads up the team in Richmond as Managing Partner and Senior Financial Planner. He is a Certified Financial Planner®, has a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Financial Planning), as well as being a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He advises a broad range of clients and businesses and is passionate about financial education and running workplace information sessions for groups and businesses, and his clients commend him for his exceptional ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
Steven is married with two young daughters, Scarlett and Willow, enjoys golf and bike riding, as well as being a Carlton Football Club optimist.
Growing up in the countryside near Birregurra, Kane has always been a country boy at heart. With a keen interest in finance, Kane moved to Geelong to complete his Bachelor of Commerce with Deakin University – majoring in Financial Planning and Management. Having worked in the industry for three years, Kane’s desire to be at the coal face, directly helping people, was the driving force behind him joining the Income Solutions team. Returning to his roots, Kane is heading up both our Colac and Hamilton offices and is excited to be assisting the local community. In his spare time, playing sport (football and cricket), travelling and family time are at the top of Kane’s list of priorities.
Elise joined the Income Solutions team in 2011 and completed her Bachelor of Commerce in 2012 majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting, and is now a Certified Financial Planner®.
For Elise, the best part of her job is helping clients to achieve their goals. Some lucky clients also get to benefit from her fantastic barista skills.
Elise grew up in Geelong and is a volunteer surf lifesaver with the Jan Juc Surf Lifesaving Club.
Tharaka is a Financial Planner based at our Geelong office. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide, a Master of Business Accounting from the University of South Australia and a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kalpan. We’re very happy he left Adelaide for sunny Geelong!
Tharaka is a real “number cruncher” and strategic thinker and is passionate about helping clients to make informed decisions about their financial future. He loves cooking, and regularly donates to Give Where You Live and Assistance Dogs Australia.
Lee has over 10 years’ experience in Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planner®. Lee has two young daughters and is involved in the Go Girls Foundation which seeks to connect, honour and celebrate women. In her spare time, Lee can be found supporting the Bombers or practising yoga.
Jordyn is a Financial Planner based in our Geelong office. Jordyn was based in Canberra for four years where she completed a Bachelor of Arts with Australian National University. Jordyn was then accepted to study at The London College of Fashion to undertake Honours in Fashion Journalism. Then in a complete turnaround, Jordyn decided that the world of finance, rather than fashion was for her. Jordyn studied her Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University. With her good sense of fashion, she does however manage to turn up the glamour profile of the office. In her spare time, Jordyn enjoys the great outdoors with her dog Monty, riding her bike or finding the next best fishing spot with her friends.
Laura is an Assoicate Financial Planner based in the Melbourne Office. She holds a Commerce Degree (majoring in Finance and Financial Planning) from Deakin University. Laura is passionate about learning to guide people to make healthy financial decisions now that have positive lasting effects in the future. Laura is also the treasurer of an Australian Paralympic Committee that keeps her busy and assists to develop her knowledge of financial control and large-scale budgeting. In her spare time Laura can be found running Albert Park or swimming some laps of the local pool.
As the Geelong Office’s Operations Manager, Alison draws on over 20 years of industry experience to manage the Advice team – motivating them to deliver the best service and quality advice to our clients. She ensures the team continue to develop their chosen specialities and career paths and helps build strategic partnerships with complimentary businesses.
In her spare time, Alison moonlights as a taxi driver for her kids. Even with the enormity of this role, she still finds time to entertain family and friends.
Sue has been with Income Solutions since its inception in 1987. As Administration Co-ordinator, she actively takes care of organising the day to day administrative operations and duties.
Marnie has joined our Richmond Office in 2017 as our Director of First Impressions, and loves nothing more than seeing a smiling face! She has two children, a girl and a boy, and on weekends she can be found with her husband and children bushwalking through the Dandenong Ranges or water-skiing at Eildon. Marnie has an Associate Diploma in Health Science and ran her own Beauty Therapy business for over 20 years before joining us!
Ash is an Customer Service Officer based in our Geelong office.
He has an Advanced Diploma of Accounting as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning.
Ash really loves working with numbers – which is lucky for us! He enjoys basketball and has a passion for cars, is a CFA member and regularly raises money for various cancer foundations.
Josh is our Accounts Assistant based on our Geelong office. Josh completed business studies at the Gordon Institute and with his great attention to detail and love of numbers, he is the perfect addition to our Accounts team. In his spare time, Josh enjoys keeping fit and is a great fan of all sports.
